OCIA

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults

(Becoming Catholic)

For everything you always wanted to know about becoming Catholic….but were afraid to ask!

Have you been thinking about becoming Catholic?

Do you know someone who would like to make the journey of faith and become a Catholic?

OCIA (The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults), is the process in which an adult (18+) becomes a member of the Catholic Community at Corpus Christi. It is designed specifically for the initiation of the un-baptized person(s) or for those who are baptized but were never formally educated in the faith.

This process also includes persons who may have been baptized in another Christian denomination many years ago, but are now seeking to join the Catholic community (by making a profession of faith after a period of religious education and preparation with other adults).

Or, if you are married to a Catholic and you wish to join the Church.

OCIA runs concurrent with the school year, beginning in the fall and concluding with participants being brought into the Church at the Easter Vigil Mass in the spring.

Registration for the '24-'25 OCIA year has closed. Complete the OCIA Interest Form below if you would like more information, or to be kept in the loop regarding nest year's program.
